French Language Learning

Every year since the 1960s, many Americans have served as Peace Corps volunteers, and in many cases they learned and spoke French, specially if they served in former French African colonies. This has awakened in their children an interest for that language, so that they very often learn French as well. Friends and acquaintances of former Peace Corps volunteers often also appreciate the sophistication of the French culture and language. The interest and love of French is well spread, indeed. We believe as well that the best way to enjoy your trip to France or to any other French-speaking place in the world that has French is to learn to communicate in the language of Molière.

We offer a number of options for you to learn or improve your command of French.

  • One-on-one or small group classes, covering conversation practice and grammar. We do this in a very fun way, so that students relax and find these learning sessions enjoyable. One-on-one and small group classes are ideal for both beginners and advanced speakers. For groups of two or three, it is necessary that all partners have the same level of knowledge of the language.

  • Conversation clubs or meetups. Sessions for conversation and friendly chat with up to eight participants. The conversation is done in a very articulate way. The conversation leader facilitates the conversation and answers all questions related to grammar, vocabulary and other various cultural aspects of the language. French conversation sessions are scheduled on demand.

  • Skype classes. We will review grammar and practice conversation using Skype. Additional text material is as well included.

With all these choices at hand, we say to you “Allons-y !”- Yes, let’s go. Now is the time!
